District VIII Meeting

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the Temple Terrace Garden Club (TTGC) hosted the FFGC District VIII meeting at the Temple Terrace Country Club. 

District VIII consists of 18 garden clubs and each club had representation for a total of 100 attendees.  

The room was beautifully decorated in a fall theme. The gorgeous floral centerpieces were made by talented TTGC members and raffled off to lucky recipients. 

The meeting was an opportunity for the newly-elected FFGC Officers to visit each District in the state and present their vision. A delicious plated lunch was followed by a raffle of opportunity baskets, some of which were donated by local merchants while others were made by TTGC members. They were a big hit!  There were also several vendors present to sell Orchids, local honey and unique, beautifully handmade cards. 

After a year of planning this important meeting, it was pulled together flawlessly with many TTGC members volunteering to help in various roles and/or attending the event.
